Traditionally a box spring base, often coming as a divan base, is simply upholstered in fabric and aesthetically lies straight on the floor. With Hasena, you can now have a luxury box spring base within ANY of their frames, whatever the range!! and apart from the few proposals shown in this section, from laminated frames to solid wood ones, high gloss, or real leather frames, and still choose whichever Hasena legs or headboard you like for a bespoke look.

The Corno bed featured in this picture shows a sturdy 100% solid oak frame, 18 cm deep  on Corno legs, 20 cm (space underneath bed), L shaped and part of the frame too and they intersect the rails, very popular and contemporary design in 3 stunning warm finishes, also available in h. 25 and 30 cm matched to the simple yet very popular Varus solid oak headboard embellished by the Varo real leather pads, in a choice of colours. 

What the mattress sits on makes a big difference.  A sprung divan base, or box spring, gives the mattress the best possible support, adding to the comfort and extending its life. A slatted base has a degree of flexibility, but cannot match a sprung base, 

Sprung edge base beds are generally more luxurious than platform bed because of the additional materials and craftsmanship required to manufacture a spring edge base. This makes the bed much more supportive across the whole mattress with no ‘hard edges’ and aids the mattress itself in providing a softer more supportive base. The sprung edge base is a longer lasting bed type as the mattress will last longer. 
As a side advantage for those who like a higher bed seat, this allows the mattress to fully lay above the frame level, rather then being slotted inside the frame, thus resulting in a higher sleeping position.

Hasena's BOX Spring system uses a solid spruce wooden frame, internally 205 springs per sqm and all over them a thick insulator padding made of 500 g per sqm felt and a heavy jersey 100% polyester cover directly stitched on the padding. Total height 16 cm.

Hasena Beds with Leather Headboards: When opting for leather parts, where optional, the lead time will be closer to 9 weeks. When opting out, it will be closer to 4 weeks. You can opt for part dispatch, choosing to have the bed as soon as possible, and leave the leather part for later dispatch. Costs may apply for second, completion deliveries. Please contact us if you are interested in part dispatch.
