All of our suppliers and delivery partners are operating as usual, with all safety precautions and procedures in place, which they have enhanced over the past months, to ensure that deliveries and installation carries out as normal and safely for everyone
Please note: delivery delays are possible of up to 3-4 weeks, depending on the delivery network, dictated by delays from manufacturers' inbounds and their own supply chain, plus a larger volume of deliveries coming in and possible staff shielding, which impacts the delivery and installation service regular turn-around.
Affected manufacturers are Stylform and Hasena - upholstered items only(beds with leather headboards/fully upholstered beds).
Orders are being processed as usual, on a first come, first served basis.
Following the Government advice that is designed to help reduce the spread of coronavirus, Head2bed have taken a number of steps to help ensure the well-being of customers, staff and the wider community, while also keeping essential services running.
We have now re-instated our installation service throughout the UK.
When you are called to be offered delivery, the booking team will offer you delivery only or delivery and installation. For the latter, the booking team will go through some advice at point of booking to ensure social distancing is guaranteed while crew in your property, for everyone's sake and safety.
If you did want to opt for installation service, but you would rather wait till more convenient times, when it feels safer for you to have people around, simply let the booking team know when you are contacted, we will keep the goods safely in stock for you. Some postcodes might be covered with delay.

As the situation is unpredictable and governments take steps on a daily basis, it is difficult to be comprehensively informative at this stage, as measures may be implemented or restricted with immediate effect and affect other countries, like a domino effect, i.e. border closures which currently delay the free circulation of goods also through countries that are not yet on lock-down.
We have implemented the following process:
- Request customers to tell us if their household is self-isolating before our crews arrive to your property on the booked delivery day; depending on circumstances, this may result in rescheduling our offered home delivery and installation date.
- We will check all fitting crews on a daily basis for symptoms of coronavirus prior to dispatch from warehouses.
- Due to changing government coronavirus guidelines, we can no longer 100% guarantee a HDI book-in date ahead of the event.
- Throughout the process we will aim to communicate clearly and timely to minimise frustration and inconvenience and our order processing and administration remains open and unaffected by these changes.
Head2bed take pride in delivering quality products which delight customers and it is hugely disappointing to take such unprecedented action. However, we feel it is the right and responsible course of action to protect our crews' as well as our customers' welfare.
